Yes, I went to the Hilary Duff Concert!

That's right, Shawnie and I went to the Hilary Duff concert ~ and it was awesome! We love her! It was a great night, just the two of us (Shawnie and I) got to spend the day together and drive up to the show, we had dinner first then stood in line forever. The best part was that there was a guy from the raido station there who saw our "We love Hilary Duff" poster and upgraded our seats to floor seats! That beats nosebleeds anyday! Well, I won't go on and on in case you all aren't as big of fans as I openly admit to being.......

This weekend, we went to my parents house for a night. Jordan and Michaela had a lot of fun on the beach and Michaela fell asleep in the backpack. It was nice to hang out and play cards without having the phone ringing all day!

5 Months Old!

I can sit up all by myself now and if I try really hard... I can scoot on my tummy to get a toy! I am growing up so fast!

Bathtime Fun and New Sleeping Habbits

First Question....... Why is it that my perfect little sleeper, (seriously, she went to bed at 10 pm and didn't wake up until about 8:30) suddenly started to wake up again at 3:00 am? The day she turned 5 months old.......Bam, waking up again! Any insight as to when this will end? Also, when is this pesky tooth that is causing quite a rukus going to show it's pearly self?

It's not all dreary, I am loving being a mom, and seriously, could she be more beautiful? I just love her, what a great little buddy! She loves bath time, and I though I would share some of the pictures.

A Forever Family

Today, our adoption was finalized! Michaela is officially on the state records, our true-blue daughter. We are so happy, there isn't really a better word to describe it. Even more special to us though, is that right after our court appearance, we were able to go to the Seattle Temple and be sealed as a family for time and all eternity. My mom and sister got her all ready and when they broght her in to the room and I saw my little angel in her white dress and big beautiful eyes, the waterworks started. It was so perfect to have our families there and share it with us. We are truly a blessed family. Below are some pictures that Dustin and Amber took for us of today. We love you all!

An Unsuspecting Victim.............

Jordan's brother, Dustin and his wife Amber came to Seattle last week for a suprise visit. It was great to see them and meet their little baby, Corban. They are AMAZING photographers, so we had fun taking pictures all week! Here are some family shots as well as the babies' first Fourth of July pictures. Also, my grandma was in town visiting as well so there are a few of her.

So Michaela SCREAMED all day yesterday, (she is teething) and there was nothing I could do but hold her. So when Jordan got home, I GRATEFULLY handed over the baby and went to get the mail. I kinda felt bad because he had worked hard all day and now the baby was for sure making it hard to relax so I came back pretty quick. To my suprise- this is how I found them! Take that mommy!

Happy Father's Day!

Today was Jordan's first Father's Day. To celebrate, Michaela got him a barbeque Grill and I gave him the gift of Diaper Duty all day! Aren't we thoughtful?!

A Quarter of a Century.........

Jordan is 25! We celebrated with a barbeque with some close friends and family. It was a great time, it was fun to see all the people that we used to hang out with chasing their kids around. Love it! Anyway, above are some of the pictures, the one with the cake is a special "spreadsheet cake" that I made for Jordan! Who else loves Excel Spreadsheets as much as he does?!
