We love this squishy baby, she brings us so much joy and our family is so happy to have her!

Ashley's Blessing and Michaela's first day of Kindergarten

Summer wrap up! Swimming lessons were a total success - Michaela went from not wanting to put her face in to learning to dive in the highest level and Heidi went from watching on the side to doing a lap with the kickboard! I was very pleased.

At the very begining, I started giving Michaela a thumbs up to let her know I was watching and that she was ok - it ended up to be the theme of swimming lessons. Each time she would do something, she would turn to me to give met he "signal." Heidi caught on and she did it all the time too - with much enthusiasm!

Michaela seems to be drowning - but never fear, its just her giving me a thumbs up while swimming!

....And again.

Jordan and I went on a double date with his childhood friend in downtown Seattle. Obviously Ashley had to come and was she a dream? YES SHE WAS! She was so good, and we enjoyed having her with us!

She enjoyed my dad's deep singing voice..

Can you tell how blue her eyes are?! I am loving it!

Heidi's first real hair cut - twins with Ericka for sure! She was so curious, the lady had a hard time cutting it.

Uncle Austin and Aunt Tikla flew in for Ashley's blessing - Heidi LOVES Austin!

Fife update

So, life here is wonderful! I am tired, the dishes pile up and there is always a mountain of laundry always to be done. But I am pretty sure this is Heaven. Michaela is learning so much, getting ready for Kindergarten, showing us the words she is writing and the math she is doing. Heidi is telling jokes, has mastered the sumersault and is just about potty trained. Both older girls are in swimming lessons this summer and are doing so well! Ashley is a doll baby. We cannot get enough of her smiles and snuggles. She is the funniest when she is waking up - she groans and moans and stretches for 20 minutes before actually waking up, it's cute at noon but not at 2am!

Ashley is one month

One of my first solo outings with THREE kids was to get Ashley's one month pictures taken. We survived. Barely - but we did. Since my other two looked as cute as always I decided to update my wall pictures of them as well.

I can't believe this sweet baby is already one month old! She is 7.5 lbs now and is such a sweet baby. I have no idea what we ever did without her! She is sleeping for about 4-5 hour stretches during the night, is smiling in response to us now and just in general is wonderful!

And just because she is so cute I threw this one in :)

Goodness it's busy around here!! Its the kind of busy that sounds like a five year old talking and talking and talking, seriously about 8 thousand words a day, a two year old asking obvious questions like, "is that your hat, are you wearing a shirt, are you my mom," and a very impatient three week old who MUST.EAT.NOW. And we couldn't be happier, or to be honest - more exhausted ;) However, because of the swimming lessons, and the potty training and the CONSTANT nursing, there are far more pictures on this post than there are stories. And because Ashley is still a novelty and my computer is dying, most of the pictures are of her, but our other girls are also here, and wonderful and enjoying the summer!
