I am Thankful for my CAMERA!

Of course, I am thankful for THOUSANDS of things, and all the tpyical ones too, my family, my husband, my BABY(not ready to call her my big girl....) The gospel, my health, you know all the stuff you say at the dinner table when it's your turn. But I really love my camera, I love ot take pictures of things I love and I LOVE Michaela and Jordan, so here is a very unique Thanksgiving Feast - pictures!!!!!

The day before Thanksgiving, we went to the Aquatic Center. Michaela and I have been a few times and wanted to show Daddy what it was all about. It's so funny, Michaela will run all around the gym, stop to find me and dash over for a "kikkees" - Quick Kiss. And here is Jordan.... enough said.


They have it set up with a bunch of fun toys. Below are a few of the ones Michaela and daddy liked best. Of course the bounce house is on the top of the list!!


And Jon - I took these ESPECIALLY for you, she looks a little too natural for my taste - but I thought you would love them!

Which brings us to Thanksgiving Day...... And more of Michaela's fabulous bedhead. She won't sit in her booster seat anymore either, believe me, I've tried.

On Wednesday night I decided it would be fun to make matching aprons for myself and Michaela, so here they are! We don't actually have pictures of the food, but we have a few of us cooking!



We decided NOT to serve the juice Michaela cooked - I wonder why?............

Well, "Santa" must be doing a trial run on a few of his models this year - because Michaela got a new train set today! (Thanks Dad....) I thought some of you (mostly the grandpas) would enjoy the footage of her playing with her favorite thing - CO-CHAINS!)...... and that is Michaela talk for choo choo train!......

This may not be a monumental week for some of you..... but for MICHAELA and her MOMMY, the day has come when we GET TO DO HAIR!!! Woohoo! On two different days now, there has been enough time, cooperation and HAIR to get a doo! You may notice the doo's are very similar but we are not picky here at the "just got enough hair to do it" house! As my dad would say, "oh HAPPY DAY!!"

Halloween, Messy Room and a Nudist...

We had a great Halloween! Our ward had a trunk or treat with lots of fun games and contests and FOOD! We didn't stay for trick or treating because Michaela had a cold, but she did get in on the food and good times! I think she looks so big sitting in the chair eating her snacks! She was SO EXCITED about the little boy dressed as her idol, Elmo! I think she freaked him out a little when she wouldn't stop chasing him shrieking EMO! EMO!

This afternoon Michaela was supposed to be taking a nap, but ever since she has had the big girl bed, it's a little harder to enforce that rule. So an hour after I put her down, I heard her laughing and talking to herself. I went in, and found the biggest mess she has ever made! As soon as I opened the door, she said, "uh-oh. me pay!" I put her back in her bed and she took a great nap! When she woke up, we learned the clean up song and got to work!!

Birthday fun!

As he always does, Jordan went a little nuts on by birthday! It was a lot of fun and the best part was sharing it with our good (and equally crazy) friends John and Michelle Culley. We LOVE them! Michelle's birthday is pretty close to mine, so we celebrated together. On Monday the boys tricked us into shopping (gasp!!) while they filmed this wonderfully unique video. I hope you enjoy as much as we did!!!
