March/April

We got Chickens!!  The girls love them :)  Michaela named hers Peanut Big Top, Purple and Rainbow.  Heidi named hers Sally, Sally and Sally.  Makes sense :)

 Almost crawling!
The busiest toosies ever!  Her feet are constantly doing this, so are her hands but I do not have any video of that!  We call them her thinking feet.
Best Fuss Face in the history of Fuss Faces.
By far - my FAVORITE picture of my three girls!  They were blowing bubbles and Ashley was watching..with her thinking toes going a hundred miles an hour :)

Playing at the park
Wildly unimpressed with her first swing experience!
 Playing peek a boo!
 Blowing raspberries!

My Beautiful baby!  She is so wonderful!
 Sweet baby blue eyes
 Sweet lovey Heidi

Heidi and Esme (cousins) playing in the front yard
Another contender for best picture.  At the Farmers Market.
This is how we shop now.  Three girls squished into a two seater cart.

MichaelaLOOPSY!

Our Roonie is Six!!  She wanted a Lalaloopsy party so that is what we did.  This is the first year she has participated in planning her party, so I kind of (totally) let her go with it.  She wanted TONS of decorations, so I got her a coloring book and told her that if she colored all the pictures really well, then I would laminate them to hang them on the wall.  She did SUCH A GREAT JOB!  In the picture, the characters you see hanging on the wall, are colored by her.  She also asked if she could have a pinata.  I said sure - not knowing exactly what she had in mind.  She didn't want a basic glue a picture on an existing pinata kind of a deal, she wanted the actual doll.  So I showed her pictures of doll head pinatas that brave souls had done that I could copy.  NO GO.  She wanted the whole doll in a pinata - and I agreed to try to make it.  Good grief.  It was crazy to try this!  But I did and it went.....ok.  You will see below.  The pictures are a little bit out of order but Ashley is screeching (seriously, it sounds like a dinosaur is dying right now) and Heidi is telling me a story about how she hurt her finger, last week, and Michaela is dancing and keeps bumping me.  SO I am not putting them in the right order.

This is Peanut Big Top - Michaela's favorite lalaloopsy doll, the one I tried to copy in pinata form.  Don't judge :)

Lalaloopsy Cake

For Valentines Day, it is too hard to go on a romantic date with just the husband so we usually stick around home with the girls and the girls get really into making daddy the valentine.  He gets home to two mini waitresses complete with aprons who show him to his candlelit table.  He reads a handwritten menu and chooses from a list of his favorite foods.  (I am the cook who had made said foods) Then they serve him what he ordered and we all eat together.  Its super cheesy and totally worth repeating.
 My Funny Valentines
 Party Decorations!
The Pinata.  She is crying and clinging because she realized we were about to beat it to death, so I decided not to traumatize her and let her keep it. She plays with it all day so it was worth not breaking I guess.  It looks weird to me but she loves it! Remember I said not to judge..

These three drive me crazy, but they are Oh so worth it. I love them and I love how much they like each other.

Waking up to my bed buddies!
Best Fuss Face in the world!  She sucks her lip in and moans, I laugh and then usually give her what she wanted.
 My six year old beauty.

My cousin randomly moved to my town and her daughter is two weeks older than Heidi.  We have enjoyed playing with them all the time!

First kid to say mama first.  I will buy her a pony just for that!
I LOVE her giggle!

Blog Private again

I am making this blog private again, some weird creepo on facebook hacked my account and was using my pictures as their own, so I am trying to avoid that.  Below are a few videos and pictures of our last few weeks.

She is a genius.
And Delicious.

7am is not ok with me under ANY circumstance, but this totally made up for it :)

For FHE we try to play a family game, this one is headbandz, they LOVE it!

Slumber party in the living room on a school night!  Not because I am an awesome mom, but because I thought it was Friday....Made for a long week!
I can't get enough of those baby blues!  She can't get enough of her tongue!
Singing herself to sleep is a prerequisite to all real sleep for her.  That's how I know I can lay her down in her crib....

Ericka came to visit!!  She was a good sport about playing ponies, barbies, Lalaloopsy's and whatever else the girls asked of her!

Here is the video of Heidi that should have been up at the top - she laughs through all her turns!

7months old!!

Her first time watching a baby einstein movie....she was in a trance!

Meant to be!

People always tell me that my girls look alike - and they do, but I forget to remember how much alike they are.  They are wonderful, LOUD and just fun to know.  We are so blessed to have them, and we just cherish our time with them!

I forgot about Heidi's squeal!!!!!

The original abflex ;)

Not a squeal but yelling just the same!!!

Ablex the sequel

Remember this squeal!?

I will never catch back up....

I do believe that this blog is doomed.  Not to non-existance, but to pictures with captions rather than heartfelt paragraphs detailing our life.  The captions themselves may even be lackluster.  BUT - the girls are wonderful and a caption is all they need.

First rule of this house - DO NOT disturb this bear while she is eating.....I videoed this right after Heidi asked me to put a dress on a doll while Ashley was eating.  Note to self, and Heidi, and the neighbors...she did not approve the distraction :)

No caption needed.  I sure love this teradactyl :)

I accidentaly started a cosleeping pattern with her.  When she was first born I kept her close because it was so much easier to nurse right there in my bed.  Then I kept her in there out of convienence and our heater was broken so it was waaay to cold to get out of bed to feed her.  Besides Michaela and Heidi were always in there with me too so whats one more?  NOW SHE WON'T move!  She won't sleep unless she is touching me - I call her feet the "heat seeking" feet because she stretches and rotates clockwise until those little toesies touch me.  I secretly love it.
 Family game night!
Making a huge fool of myself in the aisle at Target.  But SO WORTH it!

Sitting up like a big girl!
Heidi baby is baby no more!  She is fully potty trained, sleeps on the top bunk and is now a Sunbeam!  She was the first to master the first article of faith too - we have a little family competition going... :)  Big girl yes - just ignore that the tights that fit her tiny body are size 12-18 months ;)
Michaela is the best diaper changer there is!

This sweater was mine when I was little - I am obsessed with putting her in it
 She dresses herself :)

Fife/Winn Slumber party at Christmas time!
Helping daddy and his friend trim the apple trees
 Grandpa Jon working out...
What looks like a love from Miles is really him trying to pick her up and get out of the bouncer so he can have a turn!
 New doll house!
I have no idea where they learned to dance like this...maybe all the kitchen serenades from my handsome hubby?!
Toes?  Yes please!  (LOVE her blue eyes!)
 Peas?  No thank you!!

At Christmastime I try really hard to make the focus about Jesus's birthday.  So each day in December my kids do one present for Jesus and then do something seasonal.  For example, a present to Jesus was getting a name off a tree and shopping for a child in need.  Then they got to decorate elf masks.  Or another day they took food to the food bank and then decorated foam trees.  Then each night we talk about how Jesus probably felt about his birthday gift and then we read a Christmas story from under the tree.  They (and Jordan and I) love it and really get into it. These are some of their crafts this year.
