Wyoming
Wyoming was awesome too. I grew up there, so did my mom, so there are still a bunch of relatives there. Every night we sat outside and chatted with whomever showed up and pretty much stayed there until midnight. The best part though, was that my cousin Katie and her husband were there visiting from New York, talk about perfect timing- I hadn't seen them in years!

Family pic at Temple Square

Utah
From CA we went to Utah, my parents joined us for this part of the journey, in their car was my brother, sister and neice. It was so much fun to have them as part of this trip! My maternal great grandmother lives in Brigham City, so she was the highlight of the journey for me. (oh, yeah, we also went to Lagoon, my FAVORITE amusement park. Check out the video of my brother and I on the catapault!) Another note worth noting: in the video you will hear two people, one person is having a GREAT time and laughing, and the other is giving birth to triplets, I will let you decide which is which! Shout out to my brother though, he and held on to the sacred Kresge name and rode all the "scary" roller coasters, TWICE!

Rolling down the hill at Uncle Bobs........

My dad and I at Grandma Dukes....Aren't we truly the "beautiful people!?"

Michaela and Shawn at the park

So FUN! Samantha and Richie

PS: Jordan's little sister Shawnie is with us on the trip, she is usually the photographer, thus she is missing in most of these photos! Check out her blog in a few days to see her in these pictures too!

Colorado
We drove through Utah, made a brief overnight stop in Green River, WY (we went back though, so that will be a separate post.....) and headed to Steamboat Springs CO, for my cousins wedding. It turned out to be a Kresge (my maiden name) family reunion of sorts. My parents and siblings were also there for this leg of the journey. Steamboat is beautiful, we stayed in a three bedroom Condo, and though it may sound spacious, try cramming, a grandpa, a grandma, a SUPERTALL uncle Richie, Aunt Savannah and baby Reagan, Jordan, Samantha, Shawnie and Michaela all into one place~ Talk about loud, chaos and PERFECTION! The wedding was outdoors, very hot but my cousin looked amazing! It was so great to see my cousins, it has been about ten years for some of them! My Aunt and her family came from San Diego, they were missing two daughters, but it was great to see them! And I got to see two of my cousins that I love to see, Gregg and his family and Anthony....... They are the nicest guys! I love hanging out with them, are you allowed to have favorite cousins? Well anyway, here are some pictures.......

Here We Are!!!

California

Michaela enjoying Grammy's BEAUTIFUL yard!

I know it's been a long time since I have posted anything. With good reason though! We have literally made a trek across the US. Our first stop was in Napa Valley California, to visit my paternal grandmother. We had so much fun! Some highlights were: A swim at the country club, visiting with very dear longtime friends and, taking a ferry boat to San Fransisco, playing tag with Grammy Ginny and Michaela got to take some swimming lessons from my dad's brother, Uncle Jeff. Enjoy some pictures from the first leg of the journey.

I am sure there are more highlights that I am forgetting, it was three weeks ago! I have video to upload, but just getting pictures up for the grandparents is feat enough for tonight. Anyway, here's California!

Michaela, Michaela, Michaela!

The grandma's are having a hard time with the Michaela moving, so in order to keep my promise to keep up the blog, I am giving them a preview at my excellent blog updating skills! Here is a small dose of what is to come Grandma's!

The girl LOVES to talk on the phone, this particular time is to her daddy, on his way home from work. The other college is an outfit that I had her in, then she discovered the boots, two sizes too big and HAD to wear them. The wings came a few min later out of the dress up box - what a fashionista we have!

Instead of Packing........

At the sprinkler park....... would NOT keep the hat on!

We have been doing all sorts of things! Packing is boring and tedious, so we have been to the park, grandparents houses and barbeques!

Here is Michaela at Great Grandma and Grandpa Fife's House. She wanted to be snuggled in the blanket while Grandpa Fife was telling a story!
I don't have a picture of this but.....Michaela LOVES to brush her teeth! She always does it at the sink and so she spits in the sink as well. Well for some reason, her toothbrush was upstairs last night so she was "brushing" her teeth. Jordan and I weren't paying too much attention, but she was right there in the living room so we were able to witness when she decided it was time to spit...... yes, thats right, she SPIT on the living room floor! It was so cute, and hilarious that all we did was clap and say good job!
Well, that is pretty much us for the week, I should really be packing and getting rid of all my stuff. Until next time!

The Hawkeye State

So it's official. The Fife's are no longer going to be the Seattle Fifes, we will be known, at least for the next two years, and The Iowa Fifes! We decided it was best for our family for Jordan to go back to school to finish up his MBA, and his number one choice, University of Iowa, accepted him! SO here we go....! HE has been somewhat unhappy in his current job for a long time now. Don't get me wrong, we are grateful for it and he is doing extremley well, but the hours aren't very family friendly. Anyway, there was a position open that he decided to take in Santiago Chile, and we were going to move there for sure. But then the position changed to start next year sometime and that isn't really what we wanted. So we decided to go back to school. But THEN, Jordan's little sister Shawnie was diagnosed with cancer, so we again decided it was best to stay here. Well, after a lot of doctor appointments and a biopsy surgery, it was proven that she was misdiagnosed and has a bone infection. Still serious, but not life threatening. So, again we changed our plans and decided that we will in fact, move to Iowa and Jordan will get his MBA. It's official, Jordan has given notice at work and our apartment complex knows- no turning back! Our last day in Washington will be on July 11, and then it's off to the midwest for us, to Iowa City, Iowa. It's a two year program, and they offered him a bunch of scholarships, so it's a pretty good opportunity for our family. And yes, before you ask, we know about all the flooding that is going on and the tornados, we're just praying its all getting over BEFORE we get there!

Anniversary! June 4,2005

1095 Days, 156 weeks, 36 months, or 3 Years, No matter how you say it, it's been the best time of my life! I can't believe it's been three years since I became Mrs Jordan Fife. It feels like it's been just a weekend but at the same time, I feel like I have known him forever! What a marvelous Title I have, Wife to Mr. Wonderful! I couldn't have asked for a better life than what I have. When I was daydreaming as a little girl, I just wasn't setting the bar high enough! He treats me with so much love, and respect, truly like a queen! Anyway, here are a few pictures of us through the years, I have a billion but I'll share a few!
I love you Jordan Michael Fife!
