Growing Up....

I put all of Michaela's baby toys away today. I tried to read her a book last night and she politley told me - "no for baby"- so I guess it's time! I can't believe how fast time is passing! It's amazing to me that when something doesn't fit anymore, I look at the tag and it's a 2T I need to replace! She is such a fun girl, and can say so many things, she really is a good little buddy. I ask her if she wants to go shopping and she always exclaims - "I DO!"- Horray for best friends! I was organizing our picture folders today so I thought I would share a few favorites. I hope you enjoy them as much as I do!

Happy Birthday Mom! (....Grandma)

SO today is my mom's birthday, (she is 29 again.....) And because she lives in Washington, is currently in Wyoming and I am on a tight schedule, she is getting yet another post of pictures! So here you go mom - Happy Birthday!



This is Michaela's First ever Bowling trip. We all wore Hawkeye stuff because it was a school sponsored event. Notice (if you can see it) that Michaela is wearing a ribbon around her waist too.... that is because she is obsessed with wearing belts and that is my temper tamtrum averting because you still get to wear a belt but it's school spirit too, Hawkeye Ribbon Special Belt!!








And I threw this one in because I love the bedhead we get around here! She goes crazy at night! I vote to never be the one to share a bed with Michaela!

Ward Christmas Party

Our ward Christmas Party was AWESOME! I have never seen a gym look so magical - wedding receptions included! They did such a fabulous job, I can't say enough about it!


If there were prizes given - Michaela would have won the "most afraid of the big guy" award!

This is Michaela's BEST friend! She loves Jackson, she talks about him all the time and always wants him to come over. Good thing his mom is cool too - we see a lot of each other!!!

Just playing Around

Nothing to say....... just posting for my mom.........and Jordan's dad...............

I am Thankful for my CAMERA!

Of course, I am thankful for THOUSANDS of things, and all the tpyical ones too, my family, my husband, my BABY(not ready to call her my big girl....) The gospel, my health, you know all the stuff you say at the dinner table when it's your turn. But I really love my camera, I love ot take pictures of things I love and I LOVE Michaela and Jordan, so here is a very unique Thanksgiving Feast - pictures!!!!!

The day before Thanksgiving, we went to the Aquatic Center. Michaela and I have been a few times and wanted to show Daddy what it was all about. It's so funny, Michaela will run all around the gym, stop to find me and dash over for a "kikkees" - Quick Kiss. And here is Jordan.... enough said.


They have it set up with a bunch of fun toys. Below are a few of the ones Michaela and daddy liked best. Of course the bounce house is on the top of the list!!


And Jon - I took these ESPECIALLY for you, she looks a little too natural for my taste - but I thought you would love them!

Which brings us to Thanksgiving Day...... And more of Michaela's fabulous bedhead. She won't sit in her booster seat anymore either, believe me, I've tried.


And that smile means, stop with the pictures you crazy camera lady!



On Wednesday night I decided it would be fun to make matching aprons for myself and Michaela, so here they are! We don't actually have pictures of the food, but we have a few of us cooking!



We decided NOT to serve the juice Michaela cooked - I wonder why?............
